Team Archangels, Updated Blog & Game Schedule I've updated our blog and posted our game schedule. It looks like our first game is this Saturday, 1pm, at Cardon Field in Camas. Please find the schedule on our Blog, under Important Links, Official League Schedule & Maps. There are also additional links, including the game rules, an explanation of off sides and, of course, pictures from throughout the year. Upcoming Game As previously mentioned, our first game is scheduled for this Saturday, at 1pm. Please have the boys there at 12:30pm for warmup. We've been told that opening day games could be cancelled if the air quality doesn't improve. My gut feeling is that it will but please be on the lookout for any updates going into the weekend. Practices Practices are now starting at 6:45pm and we're still practicing on Mondays and Thursdays, at Goot Park. Please make sure the boys use the restroom before leaving home, so we can make the best use of our practice...

Since Monday is Labor Day and they're predicting the temperature to be in the 100's, we've decided to cancel practice. I hate losing practice time, especially when our first league game is coming up, but at least we got some good practice/playing time in the tournament.  Also, it's getting dark earlier, so we'll need to start adjusting our practice times accordingly. Starting on Thursday, September 7th, we'll begin practicing at 6:45pm and we'll go to dark, which should be around 8 or 8:15pm.   On another note, I wanted to thank everyone again for helping to make the tournament happen last weekend. It was a lot of fun and it was a great experience for the boys! I know the weather was really hot, we were really short-handed and we took a little bit of a beating from some really good select teams, but sometimes it's the tough experiences that help us grow the most!
